But after some time you find it shedding the petals and all, and you feel sad as your treasured bouquet starts decaying. So why not find some ways of keeping it for some more time making something chic out of it.
So follow us. Firstly, if you have a nice, big and sturdy bouquet you can’t just leave it to dry like that as that will make it look just like a bunch of dead and decaying flowers. So that won’t work, you have to find some other way out.
The first trick is to make a nice centerpiece with some of the dried rose blooms stuffing them neatly inside a glass vase, a see through one.
So how do you do that?
•    You dry the full open blossoms with silica gel powder before they can actually start drying on their own. If the later happens then it can lead to the petals turning too brittle for an arrangement. See that the flower buds dry in whole.
•    Next, find a nice crystal or glass vase, a transparent one and add a little creativity. Insert the roses into the vase one after the other or if you have an open vase, then arrange the petals accordingly in symmetry with a glowing candle at the center.
That makes your dried rose centerpiece ready featuring the flowers of one of your most cherished and treasured fresh flower bouquets.

This Halloween how about a nice exquisite décor for your home, prepare it up for a fun holiday atmosphere or rather a little scary one!!

• When decorating for holidays the first thing on your list should be the element of colours. A nice mix and match of the various shades of red, orange and yellow would look nice topping which will be the extra tinge, a dash or a two of black.

A beautiful and radiant rose arrangement is unaidedly capable of creating an environment of freshness and naturality within your domicile. • First select a nice and chic container. Anything from a simple fish bowl to an exotic cut crystal bowl may go well.
• Fill 3/4th of the bowl with water and add some flower preservative for safety.
• Now insert some fern stems to act as the foundation cutting them to fit the bowl appropriately. But they shouldn’t be too small as the purpose of the stems is to reach the bottom of the bowl at cross ends and create a base for the flowers. In case you can’t arrange for ferns ivy trails could also do.
• Other than the ferns you can also add some extra greenery. Arrange variant leaves and shoots amongst the fern stems. The purpose is to create a combination of varied textures of green. But these stems shouldn’t reach the water as the sap may discolor the water.
• Now take around 6-7 rose blossoms and place them all around the vase lip at 45° angles. Keep some of the blossoms standing up in the middle and make sure all the stems are submerged in water.
• For a better placement among the greenery remove the thorns from the rose stems.
• Insert some more roses to keep the thing more stuff and sturdy. The sheer elegance of the roses adds to the royal look of the arrangement.
• And finally add some filler flowers and sprigs of baby’s breath among the roses to complete the entire ensemble. But choose something long-lasting and with a large stem or else they would wilt before the roses or else remain hidden below the camouflage.
There, your arrangement is all ready, to enjoy an elongated longevity it is preferable to change the water daily and add some preservative.

If you are one of those passionate people who cherish a makeover of their dwelling from time to time then here are some of the great ideas which will surely appeal you. You are about to view some of the most beautiful and attractive dried flower centerpieces that can be very easily made out of the very common looking grocery material and none of these will cost you a lot or involve a lot of time. They are both easy to make and great to view.
Centerpieces just look overwhelming during the spring season.

First on the list is the citrus and sunflower center piece. On your way back from the grocery just remember to grab a bag of fresh limes and lemons and a bunch of bright sunflower blossoms.
• Among the other things-you-need is a platter or a tray.
• You should have enough limes and lemons to fill the entire platter, so around 20-25 fruits are required.
• Around 6 sunflower blossoms
• Some foliage, preferably eucalyptus stems with young leaves
• Some toothpicks

In the first place you have to pile the fruits into the platter. In the process if you face problem keeping the fruits in place then you may make use of some toothpicks.
Now you take the sunflower stems, cut them unanimously keeping a length of 3-6” and insert the blossoms in between the fruits.
Next comes the turn of the eucalyptus leaves and the foliage. Clip each of the leaves keeping them just 5” in length and put them under the lemons about the rim of the bowl. Also place a few in the center.
To make the entire arrangement last longer and still look glowing fill the base of the bowl with some water. See that the flower stems are long enough to reach down to the water level to suck in the liquid.
This one is a grand centerpiece with all the ambiance of variant colours and a sweet natural aroma as well.

The next hot piece of craft is the floating flowers and candles center piece. Made of just a few flowers and candles this centerpiece is supposedly simplicity incarnate and this one’s appropriate for nay occasion you can think of. To make this one you need,
• 4-5 open roses s
• A nice big platter
• Some fragrant floating candles

Place the platter on a table and fill up with water.
Add a few drops of scent or perfume. Cut off the rose stems keeping them, just 1” long.
Place the flowers floating on the water and they should preferably be large and open.
Now place the floating candles on the water but be careful as a little dilly-dally may wet the wicks.
Keep an eye that the flowers and the candles don’t crowd up or the petals can get burnt.

Now we will make a nice spring flower garden basket. You will need,

• A little basket, about 5” high, no particular shape preferences
• A few pots of flowering plants or greenery, ivy would be a great choice.
• Some Spanish moss and wood shaving shred
• 2 yards of ribbon for making bow

…for making the basket of potted flowers which will look just perfect at anytime of the year.

Now the next significant question is how you make the basket.
You start by tucking a plastic liner into the bottom of the basket. Incase you don’t have a liner layer the basket with two layers of heavy plastic and trim off the edges for a perfect fitting. Fold off the little bit left of the edges so that no plastic shows of at the edge of the basket.
Remove the plants from the foil cover, water them well in a sink or basin and let the water drain off freely.
Succeeding the thorough drainage insert the plants carefully into the basket.
You can head anyways, either create an ensemble of similar blossoms with a cluster of similar plants or create a mix and match of various plants of high, medium and low height.
Take handfuls of wood shaving shred or moss and fill the vacant spaces between the pots and dirt and there on water well.
Now make a nice, big bow with the ribbon and place on one side of the basket. If you see it drooping down, fix it exactly the way you want with some wire or else use wired ribbon.
Feel the spoil form time to time, if it starts feeling dry water it well and keep it moist and allow good amount of sunlight absorption.
In case if an unfortunate plant dies replace it fast with a fresh one.
